The Coincidence
What is coincidence?
About coincidence much has been said and written. Here is a small selection.
- A free thinking person does not remain standing there, where coincidence has put him. (Heinrich von Kleist)
- God does not dice. (Albert Einstein)
- That, where our calculations fail, we call chance. (Albert Einstein)
- Happiness belongs to those who are self-sufficient. For all external sources of happiness and enjoyment are highly uncertain by their very nature, awkward, impermanent and subject to chance. (Arthur Schopenhauer)
- Coincidence is the unpredictable event which eludes our reason and intention. (Brothers Grimm, German Dictionary)
- Quantum physics is a part of physics, with one crucial difference. While in classical physics everything works according to the cause-effect principle, the chance and the probability rules quantum physics thereby impossible could be possible. (Roland Christian Mandl – Uni Klagenfurt)
- Chance is a word without meaning, nothing can exist without a cause. (Voltaire)
- At the thought of the enormous distance that the evolution … has come to the immense diversity of structures that were created by it and the wonderful power of creatures – ranging from bacteria to humans – one can slightly raise doubts, that this could be the result of a huge lottery, in which a blind selection has few winners . (Monod, J.: Zufall und Notwendigkeit, dtv, 3. Ed. 1977)
According to Wikipedia, it is called random if any one incident or the coincidence of several events can be given no causal explanation. As causal explanations for events are primarily general laws or persons intentionally acting. The “Declaration” coincidence is thus precisely the absence of a (causal) explanation.
Theory of Being
The word coincidence is always used by people if they do not have nough information about the occurrence of an event to derive a reasonable context for the occurrence of this event.
Our lack of knowledge about the relationships of an event is the cause of misjudgment “chance” for all the events that we consider to be random.
If there is a real coincidence, then only as an Ur-idea in mind, as in theoretical mathematics. Within the universe, there is no random activities.
All things in the universe are arbitrary, individual decisions of ExperienceEntities that follow their urge to achieve their goals. With each stroke of the universe in which they have to decide, a new, arbitrary, individual decision is taken, which state they wish to present next.
It is the goal of the individual and its individual understanding of its current situation, which brings the individually meaningful decision, which is seen as a arbitrary decision by others.
Due to the individuality of each ExperienceEntity and its separation from all other entities, it is in principle not possible for an other ExperienceEntity to know the precise basis for the decision of a ExperienceEntity. Not because of the possibly large number of ExperienceEntities like photons but because of the principle of spiritual separation.
The perception of another ExperienceEntity is based on the instantaneous condition of the perceiving and the perceived individual. The basis for deciding the current state what is perceived can probably not be perceived. But even though the basis for decision could still be seen, there is no guarantee that the perceived individual would come to the same decision, as the perceiving individual did.
This is the main reason that in within the universe in principle nothing can be calculated or predicted accurately. All ExperienceEntities of a kind likely aspire to the same goal. but everyone will act individually to get to the target, because of the individual freedom, individual starting conditions and individual experiences in life.
This means that only a probability distribution for a large number of identical ExperienceEntities is predictable.
This is exactly what quantum physics does. An accurate prediction of the state of an individual or system is not possible. It’s not possible because even the state of each individual ExperienceEntity depends on the experienced states of many other ExperienceEntities experiences in space.
The consequence is that only states of many-particle systems can be calculated with a seemingly better accuracy. But an exact calculation is not going well, but the inaccuracies disappear in the order of the considered parameter of a many-particle system. In addition, measuring is always a counting, which is only possible with those particles, whose states are to be recorded inaccurate.
In the theory of being all entities in the universe and all matter particles are purely spiritual ExperienceEntities that have an urge for achieving the goal. The objectives of the urges are set by their creators. The goals are chosen so that the pursuit of these objectives require an necessary individual degree of freedom for decisions to examine an possible infinite large Ur-idea, which is not yet known in its extension and possible granularity.
The goals are chosen such that the whole area of the to-pervading idea space is passed in total over time. The individuality and the amount of individuals provide for proper granularity which is experienced progressively finer over time.
The urges are chosen so that they serve the urge of the consciousness of the Creator, which is also a ExperienceEntity. His goal is to be achieved through his ongoing cognitive process to approach the knowledge continuum that includes all Ur-ideas in all variants.
If you now imagine the number of photons, electrons and all the other entangled particles of matter in universe. They all decide individually within their capabilities based on their current situation, what state they wish to accept next. And these decisions are also based on the decisions of other matter entities. it’s not surprising that we speak of coincidence.
Even with a few atoms in a cluster, all the interactions are so complex that all superkomputers of the world can not calculate its state in detail. The wave equation of quantum physics can be set up and dissolved only for clusters with very few particles. Its solutions provide the distribution of possible decisions of the observed cluster.
There is no coincidence, but only individual assessments, which can be described as meaningful arbitrariness.
There are decisions that humans could understand in detail, but can not predict in principle. The decisions and practices of individuals are only predictable with a certain probability. The expectations of the behavior of a single person lie often far away from the facts of reality.
In principle, this applies to all ExperienceEntities in universe .
