States of consciousness

Man is regarded by science as a unit consisting only of processes which are explained solely with properties of material entities. That is why they have not yet found our consciousness. Recognizing spirit as a separate existence is always defamed because it is not measurable. To measure something, you need matter entities. But everyone is convinced that he has a spirit.

Quantum physics will ultimately lead science to the conclusion that all matter entities are also just spirit beings.

Science does not know the inner processes of perception between our Body_Entity and our Experience_Entity. Science still hopes to find our consciousness in a material construct in the body.

It is only through this division of our perception between our spiritual Body_Entity and Experience_Entitythat that can explain the different states of consciousness that science has described. Science does not know how these different states come about.  But they are easily explained as different modes of cooperation between our Body_Entity and Experience_Entity.

The different modes of cooperation between Experience_Entity and Body_Entity are briefly explained here. It should be noted that our entire memory of life is based soleley on previous emotional experiences and their conscious and emotional assessment of our Experience_Entity. This assessment is stored in our neuron-network by our Body_Entity.

In order to understand these modes, we must also understand that humans always carry around a hierarchical network of objectives in our network of neurons, which developes more and more complex over the course of life. It contains our whole life experience. This means that only our Body_Entity can remind our Experience_Entity, when the current situation suits it, of a goal that we have set ourselves once. Due to the limitation of our Experience_Entity to 7 meanings in our working memory, it cannot contain the complete objective hierarchy.

Our life consists of a constant stream of individual emotional decisions that we have to make all the time. We always decide which of the existing instructions in our neuron network leads to one of our stored goals. If we have not saved a sufficient set of action possibilities, then a new, better variant is inserted through the process of fantasizing and thinking.

A decision is not just the willful act that leads to a physical activity. In the sense of the final theory, even wanting and every emotional desire, every yearning, every desire is a decision that finds its way into our network of objectives. All our goals are emotionally motivated. They are the future wants operating as a decision tool. Our intellectual explanation of our objective is mostly understood later in life, if ever. Emotional desires are goals that do not lead to a willful activity at the moment, but strongly influence future activities.

All previous decisions were made consciously, even if we were not aware of all the consequences. Our Body_Entity is only allowed to act without an decision of the Experience_Entity if the body’s system integration is at risk (panic situation).

Subconscious

Psychology knows the concept of the subconscious and connects with it a construct that influences our behavior, although the causes of our behavior are not known to us at this moment.

The explanation of subconscious arises from the division of the human person in two spirits and the very limited storage capacity of our Experience_Entity.  It is only the Experience_Entity that is allowed to move the body to participate in life in the universe.

In the course of life, the Experience_Entity forms a large objective hierarchy, which has been deposited by the Body-Entity in the neuron network. All these objectives are related to Ur-Ideas which also build an interconnected network where one complex idea is based on many simpler ideas. Our neuron-network is structured accordingly.

The Experience_Entity has no immediate access to her own hierarchy of objectives. It is the Body-Entity who has to remind the Experience_Entity  of an objective, if the current situation offers a chance to get closer to one. Some of our objectives are only certain emotions that we want to experience again or ew want to avoid a certain emotion without having already a set of activities how to achieve this.

If we are currently in a situation that would allow us to come closer to one of these stored emotional goals through a certain decision, then we will choose to do so because we want to come closer to that goal.

This emotional goal does not necessarily have to include a physical activity of the body. It can also be a new judgement of an old situation that gets so an new importance. This new decision may help us in our emotional and character development. Our mind is growing.

For example, I just decide to visit a certain place, because I had envisioned to visit this place as particularly fulfilling in the past. Now I am in a situation where I can decide to go there, because the current conditions are particularly favorable for this.

It does not matter whether I am aware at the moment that I had imagined this before. The emotional objective remains in memory much longer than the spatial perception associated with this objective.

But it is always the Body_Entity that must remind the Experience_Entity of its short-term, medium-term and long-term objective without being asked. However, the Experience_Entity can also deliberately ask the Body_Entity for its objectives. The Experience_Entity is then presented with the objectives priorized. The most emotionally important goals, the most urgent goals right now or the long-term goals I want to achieve.

There are alse objectives incorporated by the Experience_Entity which were accepted under pressure. We  should regularly revise our life objectives by thinking about them.

Normal mode

Objetive tracking by the Experience_Entity.

This is our normal operating mode as an adult. Our Experience_Entity has control over the external activities of the body. In the interior, it works to achieve some short-term objectives of her overall objective network.

Short-term objectives always support medium-term objectives , which in turn support long-term objectives . These in turn support the ultimate objective, our urges.

The communication of the objectives among the Experience_Entity to the Body_Entity happens through will, envisions and emotions.

Our life experiences and our assessments of situations have established a large set of different activity chains to achieve various short-term objectives. We constantly work to broaden these activity chains to be prepared if a chance comes along where we could achieve a long-term objective.

For example in a sporting competition, the objective is to achieve a desired goal as efficiently and quickly as possible. The Experience_Entity is focused on this one goal. It gets so a very high emotional priority. The Body_Entity will over a set of best activity chains in memory.

A well trained sportsman has many automated chains of action in memory, which can be carried out by the Body_Entity independently. The Experience_Entity gets only communicated the success message of this current chain of action in time, so that the Experience_Entity can willfully commission further chains of action.

Another operating variant aims to put the person in a particularly positive light for other people. Here, special attention is paid to the reactions of other people. A too long automated chain of actions is harmful, because, depending on the reactions of other people, one must constantly change the short-term objectives in order to achieve the medium-term obejctive of beeing seen positive more optimally.

Panic

Objective tracking by Body_Entity.

The body entity has taken control of the body, because the Experience_Entity is currently unable to maintain the highest short-term goal of the Body_Entity maintaining system integration.

The goal of system integration of the body is given top priority. All activities of the body now serve this ultimate goal. The Experience_Entity does not regain control until the danger has been averted.

The other goals contained in the memory of the Experience_Entity are not taken into account. The memory in neuron-entwork is not updated with these vital activities, because only willfull activities of the Experience_Entity are stored there. The Experience_Entity will not be able to remember these panic activities. She will wonder what happened in the last few seconds or minutes when others can tell.

Flow State

Optimal short-term objective tracking by Experience_Entity and Body_Entity.

The state of flow state describes a further variant of the normal operating mode between Experience_Entity and Body_Entity in order to provide special physical performance.

This condition can only be achieved if all necessary activity chains for short-term objective tracking are automated. One speaks of the so-called flow state, when the Experience_Entity only envisions the short-term objective and the Body-Entity selects the optimal activity chain and executes it. The Experience-Entity receives in time either a success message or a fail message from Body_Entity to enable Experience_Entity deciding for the next proper activity chain. This continous until the mid-term objective has been accomplished or not.

During this flow state, there must no other conflict reaching the consciousness of the Experience_Entity in order to be distracted from the mid-term objective she is working on.

A reorientation through the Experience_Entity would cost about 0.3 seconds. This is too long for many sport activities. The respective new short-term objective must always be established in advance before the previous short-term objective has been achieved. This is only possible by intense training of required movement sequences in sufficient variation to establish the required set of automated activity chains in memory.

The mid-term objective must be requested with a very high emotional priotity by the Experience_Entity  to prevent that the Body_Entity can intervene with an other high elvel objective from memory interrupting the current objective tracking.

The agreed objective tracking must not be distracted by intermediate thinking or fantasizing over other ideas. The Body_Entity must be able to maintain the short-term and the mid-term objective with highest priority. This is a condition that can also be achieved through training.

This flow state was originally recognized and defined by tennis coaches in the context of personal coaching. The goal of coaching is to remove all mental obstacles for the athlete.

This means to eliminate all conflicts as far as possible, which could come into play during the exercise of the sport. If an athlete has great personal problems, then these conflicts are certainly brought close by the Body_Entity to the Experience_Entit during the exercise of the sport.

Do we still have too many other unmatched mid-term objectives that have a higher priority for us? Or if we have not yet sufficiently integrated an important Ur-Idea into our Experience_Entity, which belongs to the Ur-Iea complex of mankind, then our Body_Entity will constantly try to load these objectives into the consciousness of Experience_Entity.

This overload produces always an awareness of a conflict. This is always a short-term distraction for the Experience_Entity from the current exercise of the sport and requires a new conscious decision. When it comes to fractions of seconds to perform the sport optimally, this will lead to errors.

The Experience_Entity then cannot give the proper signals in time to the Body_Entity the sport woul require. If there is no conflict, then the Body_Entity can pursue the objectives of the sport as wanted by the Experience_Entity. The Body_Entity does not have to constantly wait for new decisions of the Experience_Entity, as required in a conflict situations. It can optimally perform the automated action chains without interruption.

If our Body_Entity does not have to wait for a decision of our Experience_Entity, the slowness of conscious decisions does not come to fruition. Then we are physically particularly powerful. We are in the flow.

For the Body_Entity, the physical activity of the sport is only a required training for food acquisition, for flight or for defense. At the same time, it can also be an optimization of the chances of species conservation by maintaining social contacts, setting pecking orders in order to get insemination as successfully as possible.

For the Experience_Entity, it was just a great tennis match, in which we were able to achieve our optimal performance and therefore feeling great, because we are rewarded for successfully living out our urges with good feelings.

Thinking

Objective tracking by Experience_Entity.

In our model of two spiritual entities, thinking always means acting out the urge of knowledge of the Experience_Entity while simultaneously optimizing the goals of the Body_Entity. Old insights and experiences of the past are always accessed in memory.

When thinking, alternative chains of actions or alternative models of understanding are always played out by fantasy. These imagined alternative variants increase the quantity and variety of possible variants in order to be better prepared for the objective pursuit in the future.

Those variants only fantasized so far are anchored in memory with lower priority. If one is used in reality and it proves to be successful, then its priority increases.

The priority of each variant increases with the number of its use and its successful result. Thus, the chains of action in computer games, in which conflicts are solved by force, can become part of the behavioural repertoire of the player. If there is none memorized activity chain which has proven successful in past for conflict resolution, then the chains of action of the computer games can be executed.

The result of thinking is always a greater variety of activity chains or Ur-Ideas which provides an extension of one’s own worldview or self-image and thus provide greater flexibility for the future.

Conscious thinking is a function of our Experience_Entity, which can only be acquired through understanding of a sufficient set of Ur-Ideas of  a sufficient level of understanding. When we have internalized the Ur-Idea of  thinking, we think in every free minute when there are no other outstanding conflicts to pursue an objective. Gaining knowledge is always an target objective.

The new fantasized variants will be presented to the Experience_Entity for selection in order to track an objective if required. If the Experience_Entity has an emotional positive attitude with great self-confidence, then she will dare to try an unproven variant and thus expanding her world view.

Conscious thinking is a deliberate initiation of a feedback loop with the Body_Entity in test mode. We play life. It is always a question to our Body_Entity to create a new variant of our conscious world model. The emotional response gives an indication of the usefulness of the objectives presented.

Hypnosis

Objective tracking by an other Experience_Entity.

Our Experience_Entity can consciously decide to leave control of our Body_Entity to another Experience_Entity. The Experience_Entity then acts only as a mediator between the other Experience_Entity and its Body_Entity. We call this transmission of objective tracking hypnosis. This transfer requires great confidence of the Experience_Entity in the hypnotist.

The constant communication between the normal Experience_Entity and the Body_Entity is stopped or severely restricted.

As a result, certain phenomena can be amplified or even perceived in the first place, such as access to memory content that the Experience_Entity could no longer retrieve intentionally, or the control of parts of the vegetative nervous system, increased receptivity to suggestions as well as unusual reactions or ideas for the Experience_Entity.

In the state of hypnosis, both the responsiveness of the Body_Entity and the concentration on a certain thing are greatly increased, the criticality of the experience identity is reduced to the same extent because the body identity does not find any memory content for the experience identity of the Hynotist.

Dr. rer. soc. Dirk Revenstorf describes the possible applications of hypnotherapy for a variety of therapeutic goals. Changes in the following physiological reactions can be influenced by suggestion or activated imagination:

Muscle tone, circulatory functions (e.g.: blood circulation), functions of the autonomic nervous system, functions of the immune system and the endocrine system. This results in relaxation, wound healing support, bleeding control, reduction of Stress-related immune suppression (herpes), warts removal and control of allergic reactions (hay fever). Pain can be altered in the perception of its duration and quality.

By activating targeted notions of movements, the same brain regions are activated as if the subject were performing this movement. The idea of heat in the hand, increases blood circulation in the hand. Likewise, the memory of a conflict-ridden situation creates the experience, the emotions associated with it. In therapy, such internally generated patterns can be processed in order to achieve a desired reduction or enhancement of the evaluation and to reintegrate what is repressed.

Exaggerated Details of traumatic experiences can be attenuated (volume of a voice, the color and brightness of a memory). Missing aspects of experience can be associated in trance.

Also the effect of hypnosis and its manifold successes in the healing of the sick can only be explained by such a direct communication of the Experience_Entities. Since the days of Johannes Messmer, who healed people in Vienna and Paris by laying on his hands as early as 1770 – 1793, hypnosis has become an indispensable part of medicine.

Other third-party influences on our body identity, of course, also exist in a weakened form, which we then call concession, suggestion, persuasion or stockholm syndrome. A strong-willed third Experience_Entity can influence a weak Experience_Entity relatively easily. In fact, every volition of another Experience_Entity has an effect on us when we perceive it.

Our Experience_Entity must always decide how to deal with it. Between total rejection and uncritical acceptance of the will and the conception of the third, everything is possible.

Here, too, the evaluation by the Experience_Entity always decides on the basis of its top goals. If he has occupied the person who has expressed his will with the role or archetype of a superman, God or the great mother, then he will not oppose the expression of his will much and accept it as his own will or his own assessment.

Meditation

No objectiv tracking. Expereince_Entity is listening to Body_Entity.

The American neuro-theologian Andrew Newberg has studied the brains of meditating Buddhist monks. In the laboratory, the monks meditated in the lotus position. When the Buddhist was in the transition to deep immersion, he still pulled a string.

Dr. Newberg then appeared from an adjoining room and injected the monk with a radioactive substance that attaches itself particularly to the active brain cells. The Buddhist was then pushed into a computer Tomograph and three-dimensional images of his brain were taken, which can be evaluated with the help of the computer.

The evaluation of the results showed a reduction in activation in the parietal lobe. In the parietal lobe, three areas are distinguished. The front area is involved in body sensations. The upper area is important for visual control and movement as well as for the recognition of stimuli in the Observer-related space, and for spatial attention. The lower area is used for quasi-spatial thinking, such as computing and reading.

It was also found that brain current activity in Meditation is in balance between the two halves of the brain. The EEG patterns of the two halves coordinate in terms of frequency and the waves correlate more and more.

Meditation is to be understood as a mute of experience. The Experience_Entity sends no will, no wanting to the Body_Entity. The Experience_Entity hands over the guidance of being to the Body_Entity. The Experience_Entity listens only to messages hitting the consciousness. One can assume that those messages come from the Body_Entity.

To do this, we need to achieve a low-stimulus state in which the Body_Entity does not receive any demands from our Experience_Entity and also no conflicts from body receptors are recognized. So we try not to think by not to sending any demand on our Body_Entity for memory content.

It is aimed that the Experience_Entity only receives messages of the Body_Entity, which have nothing to do with the current environmental situation. The Experience_Entity tries to listen to the Body_Entity.  This is so as we would listen to our own live. We get advices, if necessary. Our Body_Entity could provide us with hints related to our objective hierarchy in memory and how to come closer to it.

Sleep

Objective tracking by Body_Entity.

Dreamless sleep is the absolute mute of the desire of the Experience_Entity.  The Body_Entity is now the absolute ruler of the body and pursues its own goals like recovery of body functions, recharging various storage functions, removal of pollutants, energetic optimization of new experiences and findings of the Experience_Entity of the day. This is carried out by adjusting the affected neurons, their connections and their synapses.

The Body_Entity never sleeps, it is always active. Optimization and maintenance of the body is the main task of the Body_Entity during sleep without being distracted by permanent objective tracking of the Experience_Entity.

When optimizing the memory of the Experience_Entity, the Body_Entity also recognizes possible conflicts in the objective hierarchy of the Experience_Entity. The Body_Entity tries to make these conflicts of the Experience_Entity aware in dream stories. These messages of Body_Entity are usually emotionally strongly colored. The messages of the Body_Entity during sleep are no answers to a request of the Experience_Entity, therefore there is no direct relation to the now of the Experience_Entity.

This is the reason, that dreams are not immediately understandable to us. They seem to be unrelated to our now. The acting people in dreams usually do not speak, most of the time, we do not even know them. They stand usally for a specific Ur-Idea, which should be better recognized by the Experience_Entity.

Nevertheless, we know what the situation presented means for us. We experience it emotionally very intensive. The objects and subjects and their relationship presented to us are generalized notions of a specific expression of an Ur-Idea. We do not understand them intellectually, but we understand them emotionally.

I think that every dream deals with objectives that have been given a high importance at some point in life, but haven’t had them in our Experience_Entity for a long time, because other goals were more urgent and more important to us.

This probably puts them far behind in the list of priorities. The dream is the attempt of the Body_Entity to remind our Experience_Entity of these goals to reassess their importance.

We need to be more aware of our dreams in order to be able to think about them when awake. Maybe we can intellectually find out what our Body_Entity wants to tell us, when we thing about it. Since dreams do not represent any communication actively initiated by the Experience_Entity, a dream is only kept in working memory of the Experience_Entity and no update of the nervous system takes place automatically.

But during the process of waking up, our Experience_Entity can put a high interest to the dream which would lead to the fact, that the dream is stored in the neuron-network by the Body_Entity and the Experience_Entity can remember and think it over.

Coma

Disturbed object tracking by Experience_Entity.

The coma patient does not show any conscious physical activity. The communication between our Body_Entity and our Experience_Entity is disturbed. Science does not know what kind of disturbance it is. The Body_Entity may be waiting for a decision of the Experience_Entity which does not come. Or the Body_Entity does not bring any update to the Experience_Entity which would require a response to it.

Whether the Experience_Entity really gets no more Information or the Experience_Entity does not answer, eludes the investigation. The Body_Entity is still active, because it keeps the body alive.

Recent studies on coma patients have shown that at least the Body_Entity perceives something.which can be shown by functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). Patients are placed in a tunnel-shaped Scanner about 1.60 meters long. It maps the brain three-dimensionally and shows which brain regions are active at the time of recording. The Tomograph takes advantage of the way the brain works. The more active an area in the brain is, the more oxygen-laden red blood cells reside there. These have magnetic properties to which the Mr Tomograph responds. If a region of the brain is particularly active, there are many red blood cells loaded with oxygen and this is shown on the MRI images.

Using this method, Jülich researchers led by Dr. Eickhoff examined a patient. First, they scanned her brain at rest when no one touched or spoke to her as a basis for comparison. Next, the researchers conducted three different Experiments. They held her eyelids open and turned on a flickering light. They stroked their forearms with a rough sponge. And they played to her incoherent words like running, book or pineapple. The MRI images showed it clearly:

The flicker light activated her visual cortex and the rough sponges on her arms the somatosensory Cortex, responsible for the sense of touch. Everything on the recordings looked like you would expect in a healthy person. What surprised the researchers even more was the results of the hearing test. The words triggered not only activities in the auditory cortex, but also in the speech regions of the brain. The surprising thing is that the language regions are not active in unconscious subjects when they are under anesthesia, for example.

This finding is an indication that a language processing took place. However, it is not an indication that the patient’s Experience_Entity was confronted with the meaning of the words, although the higher brain regions of the meaning of hearing were addressed in the speech Center.

Researchers led by Martin Monti of the brain scince unit of the Medical Research Council in Cambridge have provided clear evidence that a patient who has been in a vegetative state for five years can perceive his or her environment. Using functional magnetic resonance imaging, they scanned his brain while asking him a series of simple questions. If he answers the questions with yes, he should imagine playing Tennis. In the case of no, he should imagine running through a house.

The Patient was able to answer five out of six questions correctly. For example, whether his father’s name is Alexander. Previously, the researchers naturally determined in healthy patients which regions of the brain are activated when playing tennis and walking through a house.
Already these two cases clearly show that the vegetative state does not have to have a uniform cause.

Schizophrenia

Disturbed object tracking by Experience_Entity.

Schizophrenia is psychopathologically characterized by disorders of thinking, perception and reaction, whereby different symptomatic manifestations are to be distinguished. Schizophrenia is one of the most common disorders in the inpatient area of psychiatry. Schizophrenic psychosis is currently based on a multifactorial model in which genetic-biological and psychosocial causes can trigger schizophrenia in an interplay. A disruption of the regulation of information processing is regarded as central.

In our model of the two spiritual entities, the information processing between the Experience_Entity and the Body_Entity can be disturbed in several kinds which could lead to false conclusions of Experience_Entity.

If only once the body identity provides a false result to a request from Experience_Entity, the chaos can hardly be stopped. The result is interpreted by the Experience_Entity as true and valid, based on previous experiences of Experience_Entity in life.

This false result would lead to very unreal perceptions, but considered real. The next decision of Experience_Entity will be based on that unreal perception, which in turn would lead to a false desire of the Experience_Entity, which may demand actions that are appropriate for the inner experience but inappropriate for the outer reality. This leads to chaos beyond stability.
